Bar Refaeli is an Israeli model, recognized for her modeling work and for her connection with actor Leonardo DiCaprio. Refaeli began her modeling career before the age of one. By the age of 15 the girl had been featured in promotions for the fashion brands Castro and Pilpel, furthermore featuring in the advertisement for Milki. Refaeli won the title “Model of The Year” in a beauty contest in 2000 and 2001. She was also chosen to be the home model of Renuar fashion network and appeared in their summer 2002 and winter 2003 events.

She was cast for fashion production abroad, among them Dim, and made an appearance in the French ELLE magazine, along with being the 1st Israeli model being included in Sports Illustrated magazine. The same photograph was later published in the cover of Maxim. She appeared in the cover of the March 2006 issue of GQ Italy,and was in the March 2007 issue of Sports Illustrated in a swim wear and posed with the band Aerosmith as well. Refaeli shown up in a September 2007 Paris-Match issue where she was interviewed by reporter Caroline Mangez. The six-page report got many pictures and an interview about Refaeli’s lifestyle in Israel, her family and her job. She furthermore appeared on the cover of Tatler magazine for the October 2007 issue. British men’s magazine Arena named Refaeli The Best Body of 2008 in its February 2008 issue. Refaeli shows up on the cover. She is the newest Spring/Summer 2008 face of Accessorize and is the spokesperson for globally renowned fashion brand - Luisa Cerano in Fall/Winter 2007 along with Spring/Summer 2008. She has modeled for Subaru, and is the face of Accessorize and the Brazilian clothing line, Besni and also the Italian jewellery line Marco Bicego. She is signed to Storm Model Management in London, and 1 Model Management in New York City.

Refaeli co-starred the Israeli TV series Pick Up in 2005. In October 2008, she co-hosted the Bravo special program Tommy Hilfiger Presents Ironic Iconic America,based on the book Ironic Iconic America authored by George Lois. She returned as a program host in 2009, this time for MTV’s short revival of House of Style.
On January 18, 2011, Refaeli joined the premiere of the English-language movie Session in Israel in which she stars. Directed by Israeli Haim Bouzaglo, the film is a emotional thriller that tells the story of a manipulative psychologist who becomes obsessed with a new young patient. She served as a guest judge on cycle four of Germany’s Next Topmodel hosted by Heidi Klum.
